A Pacific Instruments microprocessor-based system that controls the settings on the acquisition modules and the timing of the data acquisition from each module. These acquisition module settings are stored in nonvolatile memory on the channel controller. These settings are read by the microprocessor when first turned on and each acquisition module is programmed with the last used settings.
